Najafabad black marble as its name suggests, has a completely black theme and irregular white lines are scattered in it. This black stone is popular all over the world and in most countries it is known as Pars Marble or Pars Black Stone. The processing of Najafabad black marble is polished and glossy.

This marble mine is located forty kilometers west of Isfahan and twelve kilometers southeast of Najafabad city in Iran.

Najafabad black marble stone is very similar to pietra grey in some sort. But the way to distinguish these two stones is in the color of the background and the type of streaks. In Pietra grey, the streaks are often linear and long in the same direction, and the background color is dark gray in most sorts.
