Maintenance & Cleaning Conditions Of Giti Fountain

• The black marble stone used to construct the Giti stone fountain clearly shows the sedimentation. For this reason, using water without salt is preferable to lengthen the longevity of its electrical appliances, such as lighting, pumps, and wiring.
• Copper (II) sulfate can be used in its pond to stop the growth of algae.
• Weekly or at most monthly water changes and pond cleaning are suggested. Use only soft brushes or sponges to clean it, and avoid using any chemicals.
• On rainy days, make sure the water drain cap is open to keep the pond from filling up.
• To increase the longevity of electrical appliances, unplug the stone fountain from the power outlet if you won’t be using it for a long period. If not, electrical appliances’ usable lives will be reduced.
• It’s advised to completely drain the fountain’s water and cover its surface with tarpaulin throughout the winter, particularly if the fountain is located in a cold or open area.
