Salsali Cream Marble

Salsali Cream Marble is a beautiful type of marble stone featuring veins that resemble lightning, an ECG heartbeat pattern, or what is commonly referred to as sinusoidal veins. These very fine, linear veins can be seen throughout the surface of the stone. This marble is also known as Khor Marble. Khor and Biabanak are located in Isfahan Province, where the Salsali Marble quarry is also located. Salsali Marble is generally available in three grades: white, cream, and lilac. The white grade has a higher price due to its lighter color and fewer veins.

Features of Salsali Cream Marble

The beauty and light color of this stone make spaces appear larger while also creating a sense of tranquility and elegance. Due to their calcareous nature, these stones generally have high water absorption, making them unsuitable for use in areas with high humidity. These types of stones are less resistant than travertine to natural factors such as rain, cold, heat, and weathering.

Salsali marble is mostly used in the staircase of the building in stairs and walls, which are often used in combination with dark colored marbles.
