The main color of Salasali Marble Stone is light cream and lilac, featuring distinctive sinusoidal, ECG-like veins. Similar to Simakan Stone, this marble is available in various grades, all of which share the same characteristics. The only difference between these grades is their darker color tones and the presence of more sinusoidal veins. Resin and epoxy are also used in this stone to enhance its durability, strength, and shine.
Features of Salsali Marble
Most enthusiasts of Salasali marble choose to purchase it because of its light colors and affordable price. Salasali marble is mainly used for paving residential buildings, including parking floors, staircases, stairway walls, and other applications. Salasali marble stones produced in Iran are exported to other countries in both raw and processed forms. It is worth noting that in the lilac grades, this stone can be difficult to match with other stones for interior design due to its distinctive color. On the other hand, using it uniformly throughout a space often does not create an aesthetically pleasing result. Therefore, this point should be taken into consideration when using this stone.
Artifacts with Salsali Marble
Additionally, due to the beautiful vein patterns and the availability of large blocks, also known as stone slabs or blocks, this stone is used to create stone products such as stone barbecues, stone flower pots, sculptures, and coffee tables.
It is also used for these purposes, examples of which can be seen in the images below.
