Spider Marble is a black marble from the Dehbid marble family, featuring beautiful golden veins. This type of marble is available in dark brown and black shades, with distinctive spider-web-like veining patterns across its surface. Like most marbles in the same family, Spider Marble is used for interior applications due to the properties of its constituent materials. It is worth noting that this black marble is most commonly installed on walls. For cleaning and maintenance, avoid using any acidic or harsh cleaning agents, such as bleach and hydrochloric acid.
Applications of Spider Marble
- Interior walls and spaces such as lobbies, corridors, and covered entrances
- A complementary stone for interior marquetry floor stones
- Coffee table tops
- Manufacturing various stone artifacts such as washstands, fountains, stone dishes, and stone accessories
Restrictions for Spider Marble Usage
Black Dehbid Spider marble is so beautiful and mesmerizing that as soon as you see it, you decide to use it. However, regarding the non-use of this marble in the following spaces, special attention must be paid.
1/ Spider marble in exterior walls: This stone, when placed in open spaces, loses its glossiness and becomes dull and stained within less than a year due to exposure to sunlight, rain, and moisture. Therefore, do not get excited about using this beautiful and glossy stone in outdoor spaces.
2/ Spider marble in floor area: Despite its beautiful appearance, this stone is not suitable for floor stone use due to its not-so-ideal abrasive resistance and the possibility of scratches and loss of beauty if a heavy object is dragged over it. In the photo below, an example of using this stone in a parking lot can be seen. Although the dark color and the small tile size of this stone bring it closer to the standards of parking lot usage, over time, scratches will be observed on it, which will reduce the beauty of this stone. (It is worth mentioning that scratches and dullness can be removed by re-polishing the stone.)
This type of marble stone, which is often processed by factories using advanced machinery, possesses the following features:
Features of Spider Marble

- High gloss surface
- High polishability and, consequently, high glossiness.

- Suitable as a complement next to the light stones in the walls, especially in the staircase
Quarry of Spider Marble
Spider marble is extracted from mines near Safashahr, Fars Province, located approximately 175 kilometers north of Shiraz. This stone is available in two primary colors, black and dark brown, featuring various spider-like veining patterns that make it suitable for facades, flooring, and interior decoration. The extracted blocks are transported to equipped stone cutting factories, and after processing and sorting, the finest stones—characterized by a uniform and glossy surface—are supplied as super-grade. The high quality and exceptional polishability of this stone have made Spider marble one of the most popular and luxurious options for construction projects.

سنگ وزین –
if you want to use it as a flooring stone, you should use it in places with low traffics and don’t put heavy stuff on it. the scratch on dark marble would be very obvious and visible and will reduce its beautiful interface
